Some realism....took me about 5 hours to paint.
Speed painting that took about an hour and a half. Gotta love the Joker!
Sketch of an original character in a style called "steam punk." It's basically taking old late 1800s styles and adding elements of the steam powered technologies and combining them together with a hint of modern punk style. Kinda cool.
And more Sailor Moon inspired art. Original characters belonging to me and two friends. This is the beginning of a much larger picture that I'm working on. I've got the second part almost finished, just waiting on my friend to give me the design of her character, then I'll move on to the last part. I'll post the finished product soon!
The video below is one that everyone will enjoy. I was telling mom about it when she was in town. It's this guitarist who plays an acoustic version of Africa by Toto. He does the drumming on his guitar and 'sings' the lyrics with his guitar. You've got to watch the whole thing!

Also, as an xmas present, it would be really cool if you could draw something for me to put up on my wall....say, like a "family portrait" of all of us together in your own style...just a thought :)

The more art that we see you display the more we all agree that you have the talent to do some great creations. Getting the chance to view other artists, interact with them to gain insight and ideas, then doing your own interpretation is what its about.
I hope you're feeling better and that you're all mended by the time the wedding comes, so take care of yourself.
