Art

So Mom and Andi said they wanted to see my art. Today I did some photo manipulating on a couple self-portraits. Here you go:
These two are...very raw. The major thing I did was basically highlight my eyes. I changed the saturation of the pictures too. Initially, it was really bright in the room, as you can see in the second picture with the lights across my face (from the little holes in the blinds). I think the first one is my favourite because it gives off a variety of different emotions, rather than the second which almost immediately gives off a serene expression.

These...were really fun to do. The first one was..kind of on a whim. There's an artist on deviantART that does these types of photos and makes them look SO beautiful and I wanted to try it myself. Of course...mine isn't nearly as good, but..you get the idea. The second one was actually a silly shot I did of Ashlee at JoAnn Fabrics back in...March, I think. Anyway, it turned out to be a really good shot and I ended up lightening it up quite a bit and getting rid of the ugly store background and making it look almost angelic. Cool, huh?
Well, there you have it! Recent photo manipulations from me! Hopefully next post I'll have some actual artwork for you guys to look at, but it's really late right now and I've got a meeting in the morning. XOXOXO. Goodnight!

Those are amazing! Andi and I were wondering if you couldn't do photography as well as computer graphics? The photography part could be doing weddings and such to pay the bills but allow you to build your portfolio. You'd be able to do some freelancing on the side while you're going to school or working or whatever. What do ya think?

You have a talent CB. Develop it and your own style so you can express yourself.

    Love ya.....Dad
